  Hello

  We are migrating from SQL 2012 to SQL Server 2019 ( different Windows servers). The OLD Instance has SSISDB.

  I'm planning to follow the below steps for migrating this SSISDB.

  Approach 1: https://www.sqlshack.com/moving-the-ssisdb-catalog-on-a-new-sql-server-instance/

  OR

  Approach 2: new server

  • Create the SSIS DB catalog on new server
  • Create the project folders
  • Using VS, deploy the solution to new server ( Login already has been created so deploy should work)
  • Using SP..script out the environments and then create on new server and few other steps.

  Please advise on the above if you can, would really appreciate it.
