Good afternoon,
I have to install SQL Server 2016 on a Virtual Machine 2016.
My question is always the same : How partitionning disk ?
This is what I have imagine but I'm not very sure.
What do you think ? -------See Excel document ------
Thank you
Antonin

completely depends upon the ESX datastore config, are all the virtual disk files on the same datastore?

Euh, I don't understand "little benefit"
What do you think :
- concerning use of this datastore ?
- architecture concerning "big database"
- architecture concerinng "little database"
thank you

you should use multiple data stores configured for I\O patterns that are relevant to the disks that are placed there
