  Hi 

  I need to update the password for distributor admin.

  I see there is a procedure to do this:

  https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/sql/relational-databases/system-stored-procedures/sp-changedistributor-password-transact-sql

  Does the administrator admin account just exist on the sqlinstance where the distributor databases exists? or would I need to run this command on the publisher, distributor and subscriber?

  I guess you are still enjoying your audit.
  It only exists on the distributor. And good find on figuring out the correct way to change it.
