insert sql into partition table

    Hello,

    I am in the process of learning about table partitioning...

    To insert into a table that is partitioned, can I use the usual insert statement or is there a special insert statement just to insert into a partitioned table?

    You don't do anything different. The combination of the partition scheme and function determine the partition the record will be written to. SQL Server handles all that for you. You as a developer don't need to do anything except set up the partitioning correctly.
