How to provide access to a particular user who is not sysadmin or ssis_admin to SSIS Catalog to view package run reports. My SQL Version is 2014.
I have came across solution people suggesting to comment out the where clause in below views in SSIS catalog.
· Catalog.event_messages
· Catalog.executions
Is there any fix to this by Microsoft or is there any other workaround? Please suggest.

I have open a ticket with MS to see what they comes up with. I will update you guys on the workaround.

The workaround (such as it is) is to create SSRS reports out of the catalog reports.
Currently there's no way to grant access just to view the reports.
I agree that it's a defect but ...
