Hi All,
There were two hot fixes available for this security bulletin.
The first version raised the build version to 10.50.6220
and the second version raises it to 10.50.6529.
What is the difference between the two versions? I have had 6220 installed on my Dev servers for sometime and was getting ready to migrate it to production when I found the new version.
Thanks,
BTW, it seems the old version is no longer available. At least my URL for it failed.

I believe this Article[/url] will take you where you need to go to find what you are looking for. The key text is near the top of the post:
The General Distribution Release (GDR) and Quick Fix Engineering (QFE) designations correspond to the two different update servicing branches in place for SQL Server. The primary difference between the two is that QFE branches cumulatively include all updates while GDR branches include only security updates for a given baseline. A baseline can be the initial RTM release or a Service Pack.
The 6220 build number was the GDR release, so only had the security updates and the 6529 build number is the QFE release which includes all the updates. The additional updates in the QFE release are in this KB Article.

Thanks Jack,
I must have looked at a couple of dozen pages searching for release info. I don't know how I missed this one.

It wasn't easy to find and the only reason I found it is because I'm an MVP and we had a discussion about it via email.
