Are you using an Express edition or Developer?

  • At the top of the 'Registered Servers' tab, there should be four icons: 'Database Engine', 'Analysis Services', 'Reporting Services', and 'Integration Services'. You must click on the 'Analysis Services' icon to list your SSAS instances.

  • There are not four. Just two (database engine and compact SQL edition)

  • I believe Registered Servers are SQL only, so are you looking in the "Local Server Groups", or did you actually create a central management server to store the info?

Central Management Servers , which are in the same zone in SSMS can support SSAS.SSRS.SSIS as well as SQL

  • The point is: I should have the option to join (register) Data engines, SSAS, SSIS and SSRS . Same as I have in SQL Server 2012 cliente tool. I don't have it
