SQL Server Hardware Requirement

    Hi

    i have a sql server 2008r2 production environment, which has 300GB of database with below

    configuration

    Ram 16GB

    Processor 4

    Active Transactions per second is 150

    The cpu average utilization 75%

    I feel the server needs more RAM and processor for better performance , what are the ways to prove my team to request more Ram and Processor
