Anyone know why I getting this index page instead of Home page...have been trying figure quite some time.

Anyone got any idea...i using SQL 2008 R2 standard edition..I trying to set permission in the home page but dunno why getting this page...

Maybe try adding /reports to the URL; something like 8001/reportserver/reports. See if that gets you there.

i have used http://server:8001/reportserver/reports but still getting same page...I also check in other sites they not getting this problem....

Is it because of the product version?

I don't think you need the reportserver section in there. You should be able to get away with something like http://server:8001/reports. Check your reporting services configuration manager and look at your report manager url. It should provide you a url for the web service page and the manager page.
