DBO user and Default Schema

  I have a user who left the job and is defined as the "dbo" (is not the db owner), and the departed user has the default schema of "dbo." I can't remove either from the user's account from the GUI. Any advice would be appreciated. Thank you in advance.

  Have you tried sp_changedbowner?

  EXEC dbo.sp_changedbowner @loginame = N'sa'
