Hey all,
I have 2008 R2, 2012 and 2014 SSMS installed on my machine. Prior to launching 2008 R2, ssms.exe would always open 2014. Unfortunately after I had to do some testing in 2008 R2 today, now the default for ssms.exe is opening 2008 R2. Opening a .sql file still properly launches 2014 though.
I checked my environment variable path and it contains entries for all versions. Can't find any reference to it in default programs either.
Any other thoughts?
Thanks

Hi Stewart.
This is just running ssms from a run/cmd line.
Thanks

Try putting the SQL 2014 path before the other SQL paths in the environment variable?
