I have my reports designed locally. 2008R2
I have a data db and reporting services installed on the target network.

I don't have BIDS or Reporting services configuration services installed (or available) on the target network ( or at least no access to them as yet)
What do I need to do - or rather tell the IT techs of the target network do to to get the reports deployed?
Thanks

You can upload the reports using the report manager web application.
However, that needs uploading the reports one at a time.

Thanks - I would need the configuration manager to get the web address for this wouldn't I.
Would BIDS be the way to go ? If they have installed the reporting services - I presume they can also install BIDS?
Cheers

BIDS is the easiest option.
You can automate deployments but it is rather hard.
You either need to script using VBScript or use MSBuild. Basically all options use the SSRS web service behind the scenes.
Need an answer? No, you need a question
