Hi I have a report that has a column that has borders that have the style set to None based on a formula - This works fine in Report Builder, but when I export to Excel I get all of the lines
So what I want
-----------------------------
-Heading- Detail 1 -
- - Detail 2 -
- - Detail 3 -
- - Detail 4 -
- - -
------------------------------
What I get in Excel
-----------------------------
-Heading- Detail 1 -
----------- Detail 2 -
----------- Detail 3 -
----------- Detail 4 -
----------- -
------------------------------
Any ideas ?
For info my Top Border style is set to
=Iif(Fields!RowType.Value = 1, "Solid", "None")
Bottom border is set to None
As I said it works fine in Report Builder / VS and also when exporting to PDF but not in Excel
Cheers
Andy

maybe you should post screenshots of what you want and what you get. There may be a way to make it work. Note however, that SSRS to Excel is tricky. You cannot really control the format of the Excel spreadsheet very well. You've got a crowbar when you need a precision screwdriver
