I'm testing in SSRS 2012... I have seen posts showing how to use gmail as a mail server for reporting (I think Lowell posted it). Can I test subscriptions with that?
(No, I'm not trying to build a spam bot!) I do have a copy of Win 2008 Server that I use for some development, but most of my work is on Win7. Do I need a Server OS to do this? (If I'm asking a dumb question, just send me to a link to read up!)
Thanks!

I use this tool http://smtp4dev.codeplex.com/releases/view/71614
It acts like an SMTP server, but does not forward the emails on, they just sit there for you to view.

Oh, super cool! Guess I'll have to test and see if it is happy on Win7 or another non-Server OS.
Thanks!
