  I want to make a job which will populate an excel sheet with data.

  It will run on a scheduled time.What is the best way to do it

  1. a sql job

  2. SSIS package which uses the excel template

  or any other suggestions

  At a previous job the person doing reporting had some jobs that used Reporting Services to populate Excel sheets for users to read.
