Hi All,
Thanks for looking into my question.
Do you know if it is possible to setup log shipping in SQL Server 2000 Standard edition?
If yes, is there any link or documentation on setup guidelines..
Thanks!
Siva.

Log shipping was not a feature available with SQL 2000 Standard Edition.
If you need to do this sort of this using SQL 2000 Standard Edition, you could write you own. Log shipping is a set of process that backup the transaction log, copy to the standby server, restore the log and monitoring of the processes involved. You may be able to find scripts that help create this sort of thing for you if you - there are a number of articles about this on SQL Server Central.

Hi,
Thanks for your reply. Yeah. I am writing my own script to have logshipping on the standard edition.
Thanks!

I am pretty sure that someone has written scripts for this already - I think that you might find these if you search for them (they might even be in the script library here at SQL Server Central
