Recently I gave an introductory webinar on how to build an auditing framework for SQL Server. The focus was for those tasked with auditing SQL Server on a regular basis and needing some ideas of how to get started. I talk through some of the challenges as well as what to audit and what tools will be helpful if you don’t have a budget to go out and get 3rd party tools (or even if you do).
