Hi,
We have rebuild one of our server from a clone of the physical disk from another server. When we try to browser the report server, we got an error as below
"An error occurred while attempting to verify the user.A network-related or instance-specific error occurred while establishing a connection to SQL Server. The server was not found or was not accessible. Verify that the instance name is correct and that SQL Server is configured to allow remote connections. (provider: Named Pipes Provider, error: 40 - Could not open a connection to SQL Server) SQL Server Reporting Services Sample"
We have checked all the connectivity from the server in which the Reporting service is installed to the database server which host the report server database.
Still we are facing the same problem. Is there any configuration that needs to be set in the new server.
Also, the reportserverservice log file shows following two errors.
"library!ReportServer_0-1!1984!09/05/2013-03:02:07:: e ERROR: Throwing Microsoft.ReportingServices.Library.ReportServerNotActivatedException: , Microsoft.ReportingServices.Library.ReportServerNotActivatedException: The report server installation is not initialized.;"
"library!ReportServer_0-1!1984!09/05/2013-03:02:07:: e ERROR: Throwing Microsoft.ReportingServices.Library.ReportServerDatabaseUnavailableException: , Microsoft.ReportingServices.Library.ReportServerDatabaseUnavailableException: The report server cannot open a connection to the report server database. A connection to the database is required for all requests and processing. ---> Microsoft.ReportingServices.Library.ReportServerNotActivatedException: The report server installation is not initialized."
Kindly suggest.
Thanks,

have you verified the report server setup via the Report Server Configuration Manager?

Could you please guide me with this verfication process. All configuration settings seem correct to me.
