Copy backup files

    Hi Experts,

    I need to copy backup files of around 500GB from one location to another,need to check the existing file date and available disk space then only i need to copy the files. Can anyone please help?

    You have not mentioned how you are going to copy ,can you tell are you going to use xp_cmdshell for copy or what?you can use xp_fixeddrives to check free space
