my question is why uninstall the framework. if there is a space issue there are other places you might be able to cut. my opinion is once a .net is installed it stays there untill i rebuild the server (format and reinstall) and then dont install it unless its needed by any programs. i found out the hard way that some programs dont play nice with all versions of .net
