SQL Server 2008 R2 with SAN replication

    Hi Guys,

    For our DR site we are configuring SAN based replication. Could any one please let me know whether SQL SERVER 2008 r2 supports this SAN replication i.e., I want a sql server 2008 instance to run on DR SAN without any high availability from database level. If yes How??

    Forgot to mention . . We do have 2node clustering also. .

    I would add the DR server as a 3rd node on your cluster (geo cluster) and yes this is very possible.

    It is possible but a little tricky in that all the nodes must be on the same subnet for SQL 2008 (and R2). My understanding was that SQL 2012 was more flexible in this regard.
