  Hi,

  I understand that there is a Perfmon counter for network usage, but I'm wondering if it's possible to find out the network usage by query. Does anyone know if such a thing exists (I couldn't find anything on it on Google...)?

  Background information: I am running SQL Server 2008 R2 Enterprise Edition.

  You could capture network related wait stats for a single query using extended events.
