Saving Report Credentials

    Hi

    I have created a report based on a datasource and saved the username and password in the datasource on the report.

    Each time i open the report I get prompted for the username and password.

    any idea what i might have done wrong?

    Hi

    A bit more information.

    I have set up an email subscription through sharepoint to a ssrs report.

    The user gets the email with a link to the report on and when they click on the link they are prompted for their credentials.

    Now their nt_logon wont work because they dont have access to the database.

    The report is set up with a report user logon which in have saved in the report.

    if i have saved the report user logon why are they prompted still and how do i stop this from happening?
