Cluster sql server port

    Sometimes when I fail over an instance to a different node, it does not retain the configuration for the TCP/IP port.

    In a clustered environment, this *SHOULD* be the same for each node, but I checked the registry on each node and it is not so.

    Am I missing something?

    BTW, the same applies to the "Mixed/Windows authentication" setting.

    Any help would be greatly appreciated.
