Hi All,
I'm having a problem with Report Manager. The first time I open the Report Manager homepage it takes up to 30 seconds to open. Everytime after that it's instant. I'm not sure exactly when it reverts to being slow again but certainly the next day it is slow the first time I access it.
Any other solutions to this I've seen relate to IIS in previous versions of SQL. As 2008 doesnt use IIS I'm not sure where to start. I noticed some suggestions of scheduling a dummy report to run during the night to keep the Report Manager awake but I'd rather find a permanent solution. Any suggestions would be great

I'm not sure of the purpose or technology behind it, but it goes into a sort of sleep mode if not accessed withing 20 minutes I believe.
This is what you'll be looking for:
