Well, I know that I can google it, but I just wanted opinions of people with knowledge in this area.
I'm a newbie to BI but I''m very interested on getting deep into this area.
So, Where to start? Any book recommendation?

As datawarehousing is an important aspect of BI, I would recommend the Kimball's Data Warehouse Toolkit:
A great book with some introduction to the concepts of BI and a general overview of the Microsoft BI stack:
Smart Business Intelligence Solutions with Microsoft SQL Server 2008
You can always browse MSDN and TechNet to read some articles, blogposts and videos on BI and how the MS BI stack works.

I second the choice for The Data Warehouse Toolkit. Depending on your platform, however, there is a SQL Server 2005 version of the MS Data Warehouse Toolkit to consider.
Pay close attention to the concept of granularity, always use a star schema and not a snowflake [the snowflake has its uses but they are rare] and take your time when designing the date dimension.
Read anything by Ralph Kimball. Although I don't agree with his dismissal of 3NF and a handful of other things, following his ideas got me going and have kept me going in the BI field for about 8 years now.

Great! If you have additional questions, don't hesitate to ask.
ps: it is my opinion that anyone working on the Microsoft BI suite should have a firm grasp of TSQL. If you do not have it yet, I would recommend you to also look into that. Good luck!
