Hi Guys & Gals
I noticed this issue a few weeks ago when someone give me a Windows Server 2008 R2 machine on to install SQL 2008 for a project.
What I noticed is that when the install asks you for your service accounts no matter what domain account you put in the boxes it rejects the accounts.
I thought oh its just a bug with this one server so I set the features to use local system then changed them the domain accounts after the install had finished.
I recently got another R2 machine to install Denali on and yet again the same error has happened, got to the service account boxes and entered in all 5 of the accounts for each bit and it didn't like the accounts, so again installed as local system then changed once the install has completed.
Just wondering if anyone else has seen this issue and if there is a fix or if Microsoft are going to fix it any time soon as they all work perfectly well on a normal Server 2008 machine.
Thanks
Ant

Even I had come across a similar issue. You need to "select" the domain for the first text box and then copy/paste it to the next two fields. I had posted about it here[/url]
