Hi,
when i configuring Database mirroring in Sql server 2005 standard edition & windows server 2008.
work group environment.
the below error is coming.
Error: 1418 - Microsoft SQL Server - The server network address can not be reached or does not exist. Check the network address name and reissue the command.
plz help me

Check to see that the 'mirror' server is reachable from your 'principal' (ie rdp to it and go into ssms and try to connect).
Ensure that the account you are trying to connect the mirror service with/as has apprpriate access to the mirror server (we use the same domain account as its our main sql service account).
Try the above and let me know.

How do you mean, what dont you get?
Can you connect to the SQL server instance that your mirror is to be based on from you principal SQL instance?
