Morning all,
I'm just doing a self study course for the MCITP: SQL Server 2008 Developer exam. I've started with the 70-433 book from amazon (co.uk):
http://www.amazon.co.uk/s/ref=nb_sb_noss?url=search-alias%3Daps&field-keywords=70-433&x=0&y=0
But I also need the 70-451 book, but can't find one on amazon. The only one I can find is the 70-441 book which is for 2005. Does anyone know if a book for the 70-451 exam is available - and if so where from, or any other books that would help me for achieving this qualification?
Many thanks.

Hi,
There appears to be no Microsoft books for this exam, however I did find a book on Amazon.co.uk for 70-451.
It's kindle only though.
I'm not sure how good it is, so I offer no guarantees, but I'm going to sit the exam soon and it's the best I could find.
If anyone else knows any good reading material then please let us know.

Nothing can be disclosed about the contents of the exam, the areas questions fell in, any details of what was asked without breaking the NDA that anyone writing the exam accepts.
Questions: somewhere around 30-40
Time:3 or 3 and a half hours (I forget exactly)

I got the book here in the States and found some incorrect parts of the SQL DDL for Create Table statements that where in fact ORACLE DDL code - not SQL. :w00t: I notified the publisher. It took them awhile to get back to me but they did thank me for my submission and have issued corrections. Long story short, read up and buck up because this test looks like it's gonna be a least a "two-fer" to pass. Now with the R2 stuff in the mix, you gotta wonder how of it has seeped into the test questions and made what you knew previously. For those who have passed, my hat is off to you and I hope to join your ranks soon.

None. There is no R2 material in the exams. It's been confirmed by MS Learning. The exam is SQL 2008, not SQL 2008 R2.

I just past the exam today with 900 from 1000 which I didn't think I would be able.
It was 55 test and we had 130 minutes to take the test. There was lots of long questions which made me tired a little bit and took more than 2 min for me to answer (time per question on average =~2 min).but it also included lots of short questions that made it possible for me to answer all of them. In my opinion it was't that much difficult.Hope you can make it too.should you have any question send me an email on pooyan_pdm@yahoo.com
