  Hi all,

  Just wanted to get an overview of how to identify who is doing what to a database when users complain of slow performance. I know you can use SPWho/Profiler, but specifically how to tie down which user is experiencing(or causing) the issue.

  If users suddenly report that the database application is unresponsive, and you're looking for a first response script to tell you stuff like what connections are active, what processes are blocked, and what type of wait states, then you'll probably find Adam Machanics's script useful.
