Thank you very much for the links.
I have read them (the links) and now i know what a database dictionary is...
But i still have a problem , i do not have created the extended properties in the tables when i designed the database...
Isn't there a tool or a way in SQL Server to create a script that fills this extended properties with the information about the tables and the column in it, so i can then generate the dictionary?
My extended properties are in blank (no informaiton)
I have Erwin 7.1 , visio 7 and management studio as tools. Does any of this tools can generate information so i can then receive the datadicionary?
Thank you.

In my opinion the BI Documenter 4.0 - is the best!
Try this: http://www.pragmaticworks.com/Products/Business-Intelligence/BIDocumenter/Default.aspx
BI Documenter outputs "MSDN style" SQL Server documentation in either compiled help or HTML format. While documenting all of the major SQL Server components, BI Documenter also documents the entire BI stack, including Analysis Services (SSAS), Integration Services (SSIS), and Reporting Services (SSRS).The unique documentation snapshot feature enables archiving of historical SQL Server documentation sets. New documents can be regenerated at the touch of a button. BI Documenter also allows you to customize the look and feel of your documentation with the ability to add your own branding.
With BI Documenter, you can:
Generate complete SQL documentation at the push of a button
Document SQL Server, Analysis Services, Integration Services and Reporting Services in the same documentation set
Capture metadata snapshots for historical analysis
Output HTML Help (*.chm) or plain HTML
Use either a graphical wizard or command line interface
Document SQL Server 2008!
Tell your own story using the built-in diagramming tool
New Features of BI Documenter:
Compare Snapshots
Object Lineage/Impact Analysis
Snapshot Object filtering
Data Profiling and Recommendations
Diagram Editor Object Properties
Snapshot Creation
Also included are a host of UI and usability enhancements to increase user productivity.
Review Your Solution: page provides a tool tab navigate to key functionality instead of having to click the next button reach those features.

UI look and feel: Updated to coincide with UI look and feel like other product offerings.
