The specified Virtual Server name already exists on the network.

    I did a total uninstall of SQL Server 2005 Enterprise x64 from each of nodes on my 2 node test cluster server.

    During the setup of SQL Server 2005 on CLUtest1, I entered name of the original of the virtual server and hit next. I received the following message: The specified Virtual Server name already exists on the network. To proceed, enter a unique Virtual Server name.

    My question is this, other than entering a unique Virtual Server name (don’t have the option), where can I go to remove/delete the original virtual server name?
