Hi,
I need to install SQL server 2005 on windows server 2003.
While starting the installation process the following software requirements was not checked.
Microsoft .NET Framework 2.0
Microsoft SQL Server Native Client
Instead it directly checks only the following requirement and proceeds with installation.
Microsoft SQL Server Setup support files
Finally installation ends up with error w.r.t SQL server Native Client.
Please advice.
Thank You!

Are you doing this from a DVD or a .msi file provided by your corporate IT office?

The software was already staged in the system.
And i am using the same.
Thanks!

If the software was already staged, chances are that's why it's skipping the software check. It's probably been short-cutted to do so.
Basically, you'll have to manually do the checks to see if you have everything you need or download SQL Server Eval from Microsoft's site and run that .msi so you can have it do the checks.
