  Hello experts,

  Does anyone know what might cause this issue?

  The host my_linux_server has a FreeTDS unixODBC connection.

  1. The connection works successfully against MyProdSQLServer.
  2. The connection gets the following error against MyDevSQLServer:

     ERROR:util:Unable to connect to MyDB as MyUser: ('08001', '[08001] [unixODBC][FreeTDS][SQL Server]Unable to connect to data source (0) (SQLDriverConnect)')?

  The developer tells me he can telnet successfully to both hosts.

  Is this an issue with the SQL Server ODBC drivers on the SQL Servers? Or do I need to ask a Linux admin to get me copies of the configurations for each connection?
