Dynamic padding.. help plz

    Hi,

    Hi have a column -> =Fields!ABC.Value + " " + Fields!DEF.VAlue

    The length of DEF is fixed = 4.

    How can I set the width of the column dynamically so that the spacing is not fixed and is consistent

    Fields!ABC.Value - appears to be ACCESS coding ... you sure you are in the corect forum?

    If you are thinking of T-SQL look up in Books On Line the functions

    LTRIM and RTRIM

    If everything seems to be going well, you have obviously overlooked something.

    Have a look at the CanGrow properties of the textbox, table or other object that this expression is to populate. That should get it working for you.
