I just bought the SQL Server Deep Dives book, printed version.
Including the international shipping cost, to buy the printed version is $37.95 more expensive than the PDF ebook.
So, why did I buy the printed version instead of the PDF ebook only?
Because I believe that is a historical book, maybe a peace of art.
Why?
Several SQL Server MVPs together, sharing their knowledge and helping others too, the book was written for charity (WarChild).
So, it’s a good reason to buy a copy, learn something new, and participate in this great idea.
If you buy the printed version, you can download the PDF ebook too.
You can use the ebook as a backup, but please don’t share the ebook.
What are you waiting for?
take a look in the article below and buy now…

Do you prefer printed or ebook version?

I bought the printed edition of the book last weekend, all I have to say is it's a collectors edition.
I agree with Alex's view about not sharing the book with any one. The revenue from book is to support War Child International and what's commendable is the decision of all the 53 MVPs to donate their royalty towards the same organization.
Coming to technical content on the book, I did read few chapters and already got the value of the book's price.
My suggestion - Every SQL Server professional has to read it.

Two print copies, both signed by various authors/editors, one for me one to be given away at a usergroup meeting sometime next year.

Bought two print copies and the e-book. The book is well worth the price. Bought mine during the week of PASS from the web and received them the same week.
