Installing SQL Sever 05

    Hi

    I had just re-installed SQL Server on my personal laptop

    and now at the starting of the server.

    I am not sure about the Server Name..

    What have to do now to find the name of my server?

    how could I resolve it?

    Help please

    1. if you've installed default you can enter a period (.) or 127.0.0.1 or the computer name in the server name if u're connecting to local machine

    2. if it's a named instance, you need to provide machineName\InstanceName in the server text box...
