Environment = SS2008
I have to upload 22GB of data daily.
1. Is it okay to keep the logfile size as 'unlimited growth'?
2. When i tried to put a value for the data file size (6TB) it kind of 'reset' itself to 2TB which i did not like. The database size is supposed to be 6TB/year.
3. How useful is it to go for File Groups? I am yet to read on them.
When i say file group i mean Data file (mdf) and not log files.
4. What are the advantages in having more than 1 log file?
