  Hi All,

  I am not sure if i am posting this under the correct group. Please excuse me if it is not. I would like to get some details on Full Text search.

  I am planning to implement Full Text search to one of the Tables in my DB. I was able to get an idea of how exactly it needs to be done. I would like to request for some help where i can use the full text search in stored procedures. I would like to get an idea of how to pass values through parameters and doing the SQL full text search. I searched a lot and i was not able to find any good solution for it. Most of the search results were related to direct queries and not in SP.

  Can anyone help me in understanding and Implmenting the Full Text Search and also querying using a Stored procedure.

  See for example BOL --->CONTAINS (Transact-SQL) ---> Using CONTAINS with variables. Starting from this example, you can build your stored procedure.
