I have a single physical server that has a default instance, and 3 named instances. I want to uninstall and retire one of the instances. Is this possible?
default (unnamed)
SQLA
SQLB
SQLC
I want to uninstall SQLB, and maybe reinstall it again for testing. Is this possible? All I ever see for uninstalls is all or nothing. I don't want to affect the default, A or C.
Thanks

You can uninstall a single instance. Go to Control Panel, select Add or Remove Programs, select Microsoft SQL Server and click the "Remove" button. You'll be asked to choose which instance you want to remove. Details are in BOL under "uninstalling instances of SQL Server".
