We are running SQL 2014 in our environment and we built a new node to upgrade OS from Win 2012R2 to Win 2016. We noticed a weird behavior after moving to this environment. A query is failed to hit the DB to retrieve results. When looked closely the query length is causing the issue. The current query has close to 25 parameters. We tried to replicate this behavior by just trying to run a select query to print os in a pattern and noticed the same behavior. When the query is cut short it works fine and rest cases it fails throwing error  connection failed errors. Tried through application and isql same issue. Not sure if we need to update OS to latest version. We are currently on 14393.3750 build number.
