    Can you kindly, explain how to calculate the running balance format using a transaction.

    If your two columns are DebitAmt and Credit Amt and this is displaying in the details section of the report, you could use =RunningValues(Fields!DebitAmt.Value - Fields!CreditAmt.Value, Sum, nothing) as the expression in a new column.
