    Anyway, if i try to guess your need, you can schedule the execution of a procedure (in SQL Server 2000) in the next section:

    SQL Server Enterprise Maneger

    (Your Server)

    Management

    SQL Server Agent

    Jobs

    Here, you can define a scheduled job an specy what you need.

    what you mean by Automate the procedure? could you specify me more insight about the requirement of yours.Because we can perform the automation by creating jobs as well as by using triggers as well.It all depends upon the task or issue which you are handling. SO tell me the exact requirement of yours and i will give you a optimised solution.
