Thanks for this interesting question Steve but I'm not sure why the bcp command doesn't specify the connection to SQL Server? See Docs bcp Utility.

Hmm... what happens if you use the -n flag instead of -c?

-n doesn't matter. This has nothing to do with data types. The return types are the same from a query, but the data is masked prior to being returned to the client.

Goerge, just didn't include the -T. Updated. The server was specified.
