How Do I get error codes and a row count returned from SSIS to VB6

    I currently have a VB6 app calling an SSIS which is taking a flat text file~>DataConversion~>Script Component~>SQLDB..... working beautifly

    Now I would need to know VIA the VB 6.0 app Ive written that calls this DTS if something goes wrong with the DTS for whatever reason..... Time out, transaction log full etc.

    Also I would love to capture the row count from the DTS in the app as well.

    Would anyone know how to pass this data back from the DTS? Happen to have done this before?

    Unfortunately upgrading to .net isnt an option. Its a legacy product that just isnt being converted yet.

    Plz Help?

    Instead of just "never mind" ... whih turns this forum topic into empty junk, why not post your solution for the benefit of others and to avoid adding junk to the forum topics ?
