I would like to test Always on availiblity group on a windows cluster. I know I have to use Enterprise edition.
But for testing purpose, Could I use the developer edition?
Will that make any difference with using enterprise edition?
Note, I don't want to use the enterprise evaluation edition, so we can put that aside for this topic.

The Developer edition has all of the same functionality of the Enterprise Edition, it just can't be used for production.

Yes, anything else I need to do?
I know for developer edition I have to enable tcp/ip protocal for the client network connection, while enterprise edition you don't need to.
just wonder if anything like this that needs to be done in developer edition.

There should be nothing else you need to do for developer edition.
