Running SQL Server 2008 R2 Standard. I see in my log exactly one week ago that a particular Database was backed up (but not since). The user associated with the Database still exists but the Database is no long there. How can I tell who or what dropped the Database???

The default trace may be your best option

Thanks anyway but the Default Trace does not go back far enough.

SQL Server doesn't track this activity outside of the default trace.
If you have nightly file system backups, maybe you have a record from the older trace or EE files in the /log folder.
