I have over 30 parameters in my report. Is there a way to force the parameters into a particular format rather than having them line up in two columns when the report is run?

You can force the parameters to have default values or you can hide some of them or you can adjust the number of rows and columns. You could have 10 columns with 3 rows or 30 rows and 1 column.
Having 30 filters on a report kind of feels like SSRS may be the wrong tool for the job OR that you are trying to make an "all-in-one" type report that may benefit from being multiple reports. Not necessarily though as I've seen massive reports before, but I am wondering if pulling that data into Excel (for example) and letting end users manipulate and filter it as they see fit may be a better option than having 30 parameters on the report?
The above is all just my opinion on what you should do.
As with all advice you find on a random internet forum - you shouldn't blindly follow it. Always test on a test server to see if there is negative side effects before making changes to live!
I recommend you NEVER run "random code" you found online on any system you care about UNLESS you understand and can verify the code OR you don't care if the code trashes your system.
