Remove SQL Server 2000 on Vista

  • Hey Everyone.

I recently installed Sony Acid 6.0 and it wanted me to install Microsoft SQL Server 2000. I proceeded, even though Vista game me warning that it wont work.

Everything installed smoothly. Just how I wanted, when all of a sudden the Sync Center wanted me to sync Microsoft SQL Server 2000!

I tried to found out what to do when I saw 2005 come out.

I downloaded it and installed it. It overwriting my 2000 files, but SQL 2000 is still in the sync center!

Is there someway to remove SQL 2000 from the Sync Center?

I don't not have a CD because like I said before, it came with the Acid Installation I downloaded.

Thanks for your help, but I found out what the problem was.

I uninstalled the ACID Widget that uses SQL from Add/Remove Programs which removed it from the Sync centre.

    It's add good now! 😀
