Hello! Our current version of SQL 2014 is only updated to the first Service Pack 2 download 12.0.5000.0
We're wanting to get fully updated with the Service Pack 2 Cumulative updates and Service pack 3.
I'm sorry if it's a stupid question, first time updating this one.
Would this be the correct update sequence?
SQL Service Pack 2 12.0.5000.0 to SQL Server 2014 SP2 CU1812.0.5687.1 (Latest build)
Then SQL Server 2014 SP3 12.0.6024.0 to SQL Server 2014 SP3 CU4 12.0.6329.1 (Latest build)
Thanks for any input, I do appreciate it. I'm referring to this article. https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/help/2936603/sql-server-2014-build-versions

You can skip the first part and just install SP3 and the latest CU for SP3.
